Course Content
The foundation year is designed to support students who may not hold the standard qualifications or background to enter this field. This helps students develop their academic skills and understanding. In addition to these, you are also introduced to key concepts, skills and techniques which are required to develop your chosen pathway and course further once you have completed your foundation year. This helps set you up to complete your undergraduate with the level of knowledge you will require to develop your basic understanding further.
For the Construction management course, you will gain an experience which mirrors the construction industry. From hands on experience, real world instances modelling, on-site assessments and learning which is constantly linked to the work you will be carrying out. Upon completion, you will be able to effectively oversee all aspects of a construction project from its initial phases through to the design stages and end results. This course is designed to provide you with the essential skills, techniques and knowledge to succeed in this sector.
Whilst undertaking this course, you will be studying through a mixture of different teaching strategies such as lectures, seminars, tutorials and online sessions. This will vary depending on your chosen course and university.

The course format is face to face and you will have a range of coursework activities such as essays, reports, presentations, simulations and projects.

The course is a 4 year course and has the following timetable options:
London/Leeds/Manchester/Birmingham
Option 1: 2 Days per week. 09:45-14:15
Option 2: 3 Evenings per week. 18:00-21:00 (London Only)
Option 3: 2 Weekends per week. 09:45-14:15 (Manchester/Leeds)

The course fees are £9,250 per year which is financed by Student Finance.
