This course is a 2 year BTEC Pearsons Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Construction Management.
Whilst studying this course, you will develop your ability to understand construction management from a range of methods and topics.


In year 1 you will cover a range of topics which help introduce the fundamentals of construction management. You will cover the key topics such as building information modelling, digital applications, finnacial management, legal and statutory responsibilities, tender and procurement, construction technology and more.

In year 2 you will cover key topics such as construction technology for complex buildings, group project, maintenance and operations, project management, sustainable methods of construction, contracts and management, advanced construction drawing and detailing and more.

The course format is face to face and you will have a range of lectures, seminars, tutorials and independent study.
This course is based on coursework which consists of presentations, project reports, work based projects, practical assessments, case studies and portfolios.

The course is a 2 year course and has the following timetable options:
London/Manchester
Option 1: 2 weekends per week. 09:45-14:15


The course fees are £6,000 per year which is financed by Student Finance.

-Relevent work experience
Qualifications Route (One of the following):
-Level 3 qualification
-5 GCSEs including English/Maths Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
-Work experience (If completed)
