This course is a 2 year BTEC Pearsons Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Healthcare Practice (Healthcare Management).
Whilst studying this course, you will develop your ability to understand healthcare management from a range of methods and topics.


In year 1 you will cover a range of topics which help introduce the fundamentals of healthcare practice. You will cover the key topics such as Ethical practice, law, policies, professional practice and values, supporting individual journey, developing operational management skills, changing perspectives in public health, effective reporting and record keeping.

In year 2 you will cover key topics such as project management for healthcare, global health and wellbeing, managing quality in care environments, reflective approaches, innovation and imporvements through action research and more.

The course format is face to face and you will have a range of lectures, seminars, tutorials and independent study.
This course is based on coursework which consists of case studies, assignments, portfolios.

The course is a 2 year course and has the following timetable options:
London/Manchester
Option 1: 2 Days per week. 09:45-14:15


The course fees are £6,000 per year which is financed by Student Finance.

-Relevent work experience
Qualifications Route (One of the following):
-Level 3 qualification
-5 GCSEs including English/Maths Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
-Work experience (If completed)
